Guide for Transitioning Between App Store and .dmg Versions

After installing a different program version, all projects will request the encryption code due to differences between the App Store and .dmg versions.

In case of lost access, you can:

  • Recreate the project and delete the old one if no critical data is involved.
  • Contact us to change the project’s access type to enable operation without an API key.
    This will preserve your keyword list, competitor data, and localization.
    You will then need to re-add your API-key and set a new encryption code, after which everything will function as before.

This guide is applicable for transitioning between the App Store and .dmg versions, and vice versa.
