iTunes Store Region Switcher: Change Store on Device

What is iTunes Switcher?

The Switcher tool in ASO.dev allows you to instantly change the iTunes Store country on your device. With one tap, you can switch between App Store regions and see exactly what users in other countries see - real search results, screenshots, in-app events, local pricing, and CPP/PPO variations.

How Switcher Works

You’ll find a full list of countries to choose from. If you frequently check the same regions, you can add them to Favorites for quick access. The list is also filterable, so you can easily narrow down the options and find the country you need.

When you tap a country card, iTunes may show a warning like “Cannot connect to the App Store.”
Don’t worry - this is expected. At that moment, your device is switching the iTunes Store region in the background. Simply press “OK”, and within a couple of seconds the App Store will reload in the selected country.

Cannot Connect to App Store

Switcher automatically changes your iTunes Store region in the background - you don’t need to open Apple ID settings or change the region manually. Simply select the region you need, work with it, and then switch back to your home country with a single tap.## Getting Started

Web App Store (apps.apple.com)

Apple also provides a web version of the App Store at apps.apple.com, which lets you preview different regions without changing your device’s iTunes Store settings.
You can switch countries simply by changing the URL.

However, the web version shows only a simplified view.
It does not fully reflect:

  • device-level search results
  • actual personalized storefronts
  • in-app events
  • country-specific screenshots and videos
  • CPP/PPO variations
  • local rankings and feature placements

For accurate ASO work, the real device view is essential. That’s why Switcher remains the most reliable way to inspect App Store regions as real users experience them.

For quick work with the web version, use the ASO Locale Switcher extension for Google Chrome:
