  • Keywords: Enriched the grid categorized by Country with missing in ranking keywords. Also, refined the implementation of the minimum and maximum Search Ads filters in the grid by Date for improved accuracy.

  • Editor: Excel Export for Core Metadata: You can now export core metadata including app name, description, and keywords directly to Excel. This feature allows for easier data manipulation and sharing outside the aso.dev platform.

  • Keywords:

    • Filtered Keywords Export: In the keywords section, we’ve introduced the ability to export only the data that you’ve filtered. This targeted export ensures you’re working with exactly the data set you need, without the clutter of unnecessary information.
    • Chart by Date Sorting: The keywords Chart has been improved to allow sorting by dates based on the quantity of keywords, not by country name. This enhancement helps in identifying trends over time more efficiently and making informed decisions based on keyword volume changes.
    • Enhanced Chart Navigation: Navigation has been made more intuitive from the keyword chart by date to the keyword table by country. This seamless navigation aids in a deeper analysis of keywords by country and over time, directly from the graphs.
    • Keyword Chart Country to Date Transition: Transitioning from the keyword chart by country to the keyword chart by date has been streamlined, allowing for a smooth switch between different analytical views and further enhancing the user experience.

  • Windows Version Design Update: We’ve removed window transparency in the Windows version of aso.dev. This change is aimed at improving readability and focus on the platform, ensuring that users have a distraction-free environment for their ASO tasks.

  • Competitors List: You can now add multiple competitors to the list at the same time (each link on a new line) and export the list of competitors for further analysis. Added a button to remove a competitor from the list. Fixed navigation to the Spy screen with the selected country.

  • In the Metadata Editor, documentation has been added, as well as improvements to the Keyword Suggestions feature. Added highlighting for keywords of the appropriate length, and by default, the Top: by Keyword is opened, with a “Add” button added for adding a keyword.

  • When creating a Project, validations for Issuer Id, .p8 API key, and API key ID fields have been added. Also, the documentation of this section on the website has been improved.

  • Sidebar Menu: The ability to hide the sidebar menu provides additional workspace and makes the interface more flexible.

  • Restoration of Filtering State in Tables

  • The feedback button on the error screen now works correctly

  • Support for Directory Import in Translations Screen: It allows to import entire directories (folders) in the translations screen, for batch processing of multiple files.

  • Fixed Reload in Keywords Screen: This fix addresses an issue where selected filters wasn’t saved correctly upon reloading the keywords screen.

  • Lazy Loading for Reviews Beyond 200: Previously, it was limited to displaying only 200 reviews, but with this update, it can now load more reviews as needed.

  • Minor Bug Fixes: These are usually small, less noticeable issues that have been identified and corrected. These fixes contribute to the overall stability and performance of the software but might not be significant enough to warrant individual mention in the release notes.

  • Keywords charts Dive into detailed analytics with our new keywords charts feature. Track and analyze keyword trends over time or by countries to optimize your app’s visibility in the App Store.
  • Add project by Link You can now easily add projects to your dashboard using a link. This update accepts links to any application in the App Store or shared links. When added a shared project link will require an encryption code.
  • Cross locales Enhanced Validation We’ve improved our cross locales validation, making it interactive and more efficient. This update removes duplicated parts.
  • Access Rights Enhancements Enhancements to access rights allow for more granular control and better team collaboration

  • Improved UI for Keyword List: We’ve listened to your feedback and refreshed the user interface of the Keyword List, making it more user-friendly and intuitive. And we’re added functionality to copy comma-separated keywords, simplifying data sharing and analysis.
  • Copy All Keywords to Clipboard: Now you can easily copy all the keywords from the table to your clipboard by simply clicking a button. This feature will save you time when you need to export your keyword data.
  • Windows Excel Export: You can now export your data to Excel on Windows and we’re fixed Excel encoding, ensuring data accuracy during export.
  • Bulk Editor Issue: We’ve fixed the bug related to opening the bulk editor from the main editor.
  • Competitors from Top by Keyword: You can now add competitors directly from the “Top: By Keyword” section, streamlining your competitor analysis process.
  • Projects improvement: We’re fixed some issues with prefilling ID from renamed API-keys files.
  • Sign in With Apple: Improved handling of Sign in With Apple cancellations for a more seamless login experience.

  • Sorting in “Keywords List”: We’ve listened to your feedback! You can now sort your keyword list to quickly identify trends and opportunities. Whether you prefer alphabetical order or want to focus on high-impact keywords, ASO.dev has you covered.
  • Fixed Opened Country for Top by Keyword from “Keywords”: We’ve resolved an issue related to tracking top keywords by country from the “Keywords” section. Now, you can seamlessly access keyword rankings specific to your target countries, helping you fine-tune your ASO strategy with precision.
  • Other Minor Improvements: We believe in the power of continuous improvement. In this release, we’ve made several minor enhancements and fixes throughout the platform to ensure a smoother, more efficient ASO journey. These tweaks contribute to an overall better user experience.

  • Translations with Chat GPT: We’ve fixed an issue with Chat GPT where text formatting and line breaks sometimes were not translated correctly.

  • Translations Max Length Validation: We heard your feedback and have resolved an issue related to translations exceeding their maximum length. ASO.dev now accurately enforces maximum length limits, ensuring that your translated content fits perfectly within the requirements.

  • Improved Editor - New Locales Save: Saving new locales in the Editor is now a smoother experience. We’ve made enhancements to streamline the process of adding and saving new languages for your app, helping you expand your global reach effortlessly.

  • Login with Email in App Store Version: We understand the importance of security and convenience. In response to user requests, we’ve introduced the option to log in with your email in the App Store version of ASO.dev. This provides an additional login method for those who prefer it and uses Stripe Subscription.

  • Cards Hover Effects: We’ve brought back the visually engaging hover effects for cards within ASO.dev. Enjoy a more interactive and user-friendly experience as you navigate through the platform.

  • General Fixes and Improvements: We’ve also made some minor tweaks and fixes to further optimize your ASO journey with us.

  • DeepL and OpenAI Translations: We’re excited to announce that we’re finally can enable translations from DeepL and OpenAI for AppStore version again. We had initially faced a challenge with Apple Review team blocking this feature, but after diligently working on an appeal, we successfully convinced them to allow us to enable it back for you. This means you can now reach a wider global audience by localizing your app in multiple languages.
  • Copyright in Editor: Now, you can conveniently include your copyright information in the application metadata.
  • Keywords Chart: We have fixed the issue with the Keywords Chart screen. The keywords switch was not functioning correctly, preventing users from viewing the chart based on specific keywords. With this fix, you can now easily analyze and track keyword performance, empowering you to fine-tune your ASO strategy effectively.
  • Minor Changes and Tweaks: We believe in constantly refining and improving the ASO journey for our users. As part of this commitment, we have implemented various minor changes and fixes throughout the platform. These enhancements aim to provide a smoother and more efficient experience, allowing you to optimize your app’s visibility with ease.

  • Top: by keyword. This addition allows you to analyze top apps by keyword across different countries. Added Story card information.
  • Improved Keywords List. When adding keywords to a list, the system now automatically handles case insensitivity, ensuring consistency in keyword management. Additionally, empty keywords are now skipped when adding them to a list, allowing for a cleaner and more streamlined keyword organization.
  • Editor: Trim Values on Save, keywords chips - ordering by SAP.
  • Cross localizations. You can now save pinned countries for quick access, and we have added valuable information about countries’ population and GDP. So you can sort countries by name, population or GDP. Additionally, animations have been removed for improved performance.
  • Subscription Screen. UI improvements, for the .dmg version, we now display information indicating that it is currently only available in the AppStore version.
  • Sidebar now consists of three levels: Metadata, ASO, and Tools.
  • Keywords. We have fixed a date range issue in the Keywords feature to ensure accurate data representation. Additionally, we have added a helpful message indicating that the data is currently available only for the iOS platform.
  • Minor Changes and Tweaks: As always, we have implemented various smaller changes and fixes to enhance the overall ASO journey, providing a smoother and improved experience for our users.

  • Right-To-Left and Left-To-Right Mirroring layout ASO.dev now supports mirroring layouts for both right-to-left (RTL) and left-to-right (LTR) languages. The interface adapts based on the language direction, providing a more user-friendly experience.
  • Translation
    • Stop Words. You can now fill in stop words in their profile settings. Stop words are commonly used words that are excluded from translation to ensure more accurate and contextually relevant results.
    • Placeholders for variables We improved working with placeholders for variables during translation. This feature allows for dynamic substitutions in translated text, providing more flexibility and accuracy by simply wrap variable in curly bracers.
    • Disable translations platform You have the ability to disable specific translation platforms within Profile, allowing for a more customized translation workflow.
    • Displaying current translations platform. The progress loader screen now displays the current translations platform being used, providing clearer visibility and tracking of translation progress.
  • Buttons in Page Title - Fixed. The issue with buttons overlapping page titles has been resolved, ensuring a more consistent and visually appealing layout.

  • App List: Competitors. Introducing a new feature, designed to help you analyze and optimize your app’s performance in comparison to your competitors. Now you can easily gather data and insights from competitor apps by adding them via app links or selecting from Top apps. Analyze their keyword strategies and discover valuable keyword recommendations. This feature allows you to optimize your app’s visibility and ranking more effectively.
  • Editor Enhancements: Recommendations for Keywords field by ‘Competitors’
  • Fixed Editor View with Keyboard for iOS. We’ve resolved an issue that affected the editor view when using a keyboard. Now you can edit your app’s metadata, without any display problems.
  • Improved Keywords List. We’ve implemented various fixes and enhancements to the Keywords List feature.
  • Custom Error Messages on Save to App Store. To provide better guidance and assistance during the save process to the App Store, we’ve include specific information about your locale in error messages.
  • Minor Changes and Tweaks: We’ve also implemented some smaller changes and fixes for a smoother and improved ASO journey with us.

  • Projects Screen improvements. ASO.dev now offers three types of project creation options:
    By P8 Key: Users can create a project by entering their P8 key, allowing seamless integration with their existing app development process.
    By App Link: Users can create a project by simply inserting the app link, making it quick and convenient to set up a project for a specific app. Some functions like Metadata sync with AppStore Connect and project sharing are limited.
    Without application with Limited Access: Users can also create an project without application. All application-related functions will be disabled.

  • iTunes Country Switcher. Now, you can easily switch between different iTunes stores.
  • Keywords Grid Improvements
    Changed UI/UX of data grid: We’ve revamped the interface of our data grid for a smoother, more intuitive user experience.
    Added keyword rank chart: A new keyword ranks chart has been added to visualize the app’s ranking based in selected range keyword ranks in the average value column.
    Changed columns ordering: We’ve rearranged the columns for better accessibility and understanding of information.
    Fixed filtering: The filtering issues experienced by some users have been rectified
    Fixed filter by Keywords List: You can now efficiently filter your grid using Keywords list.
  • Keyword List Improvements
    Case-Insensitive search: Our search is now case-insensitive, meaning it won’t matter whether your input is in lowercase or uppercase.
    Filter keyword list by multiple comma-separated search terms: You can now filter your keyword list using multiple search terms, just separate them by commas.
  • Translations with Chat GPT improvements
    Selector for model type: You can now select the type of model you want to use for translations: GPT-4, GPT-3.5-Turbo, Davinci-003
    Requests per minute limitations: We’ve resolved the issues with the limitation on requests per minute. It was limited to 3 requests per minute for free rates. Now, you have the flexibility to keep it at 3 requests per minute to minimize expenses, or choose constrained by your GPT’s subscription plan.
  • Editor Improvements
    Editor in Rejected State: The read-only mode in the editor has been disabled when in the Rejected State, allowing you to make necessary changes.\
  • Bulk Editor Improvements
    Progress bar: We’ve added a progress bar to Editor, Bulk Editor and Cross Localization Screens to provide visual feedback on the progress of your tasks.\
  • Save open window size (Mac OS): Allows users to save their preferred window size when using the application.\
  • Access Rights Grid Improvements
    Changed UI/UX of data grid: We’ve revamped the interface of our data grid for a smoother, more intuitive user experience.
    Override meta-information: You have an option to override the meta-information translations if needed.\
  • Keywords chips flickering: Fixed Cross localization, Editor and Bulk Editor keywords chips flickering issue
  • Fixed “Editor” for Apps Added by Link (IOS): We’ve resolved an issue that affected the Editor for apps that were added via a link. Now, you can seamlessly edit and manage these apps just like any others.\

  • Improved “Editor”
    Export/Import Functionality: Easily export and import all metadata in json to transfer changes between different accounts or applications.
    Choose Build: You can choose your build before submission on the go.
    Send to Review: With a simple click, send your app for review directly from the Editor.
    Publish App: Releasing your app is now even easier. Publish straight from the Editor!
    Fixed Saving for zh-Hant and zh-Hans: We’ve resolved the issue with saving in these locales to ensure a smoother localization process.
    Editor: Publish: access level allows you to change the ‘What’s New’ section, select a build and submit it for review, remove a build from review, or even release a version after submission from the Editor screen.

  • Improved “Top Apps” Screen
    Default Selected Parameters: To enhance user convenience, we’ve made certain parameters selected by default.

  • Improved “Keywords List”
    Search Functionality: You can now easily search within your keyword list.
    Delete All: Want to start fresh? Use the ‘Delete All’ feature to clear your keyword list.
    Select Country: Track your keyword rankings and Apple Search Ads for your keyword list to specific markets by selecting your target country.
    Show Popularity and Rank for Country and Selected App: Get comprehensive insights with the Apple Search Ads popularity and rank of each keyword for a selected country and app.

  • Fixed Redeem Code on iOS: We’ve fixed the issue with redeeming codes on iOS on Startup.

  • Fixed .strings Import/Export in Translations: We’ve resolved an issue related to importing and exporting translations in .strings format.
  • Progress Bar for Translations: Keep track of your translation progress with our new progress bar.
  • Auto-translate Empty Values: Empty fields will now be automatically translated with machine translation.
