API key: Access Levels

Access Levels

In App Store Connect, API keys have different access levels that determine the operations they can perform. Access Levels

Admin

This is the highest access level and grants full access to all the resources and operations available in the App Store Connect API.
This includes managing users, roles, apps, app metadata, builds, beta testing, sales, and financial data.

App Manager

This access level allows the management of apps, app metadata, and builds, but it does not have access to users and roles, beta testing, or sales and financial data.
App Managers can create, read, update, and delete information related to the apps they manage, such as app versions, app store information, pricing, and availability. But they cannot respond to reviews.

Developer

The Developer access level is primarily for managing builds and app metadata.
Developers can read and update app metadata and manage builds, but they cannot create or delete apps, create app versions, manage users and roles, access beta testing, respond to reviews, or view sales and financial data.

Finance

This access level is specifically designed for managing financial data.
Finance users can access financial data, but they do not have access to manage apps, app metadata, builds, users and roles, respond to reviews, or beta testing.

Sales and Reports

This access level is specifically designed for managing sales data and reports.
Finance users can access sales data and reports, but they do not have access to manage apps, app metadata, builds, users and roles, respond to reviews, or beta testing.
